Fix the LA Servers

Could you please show a screenshot when it is kicking you from the server?

Is this still happening?

 

It says something along the lines of, "Steam Authenticator Ticket Canceled"

 

I was on while this happened and I was playing with falcon


this is still going on and has been going on for a long time but I thought it was already reported.... that's what I get for assuming


but this is a problem because it cancels out lr's and forces map changes and a bunch of random unpleasant surprises are around the corner when you go onto LA servers

 

I've read around (https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=244411) and as they claim it is our clients crashing.

I confirm this is still a problem.

I read the logs and confirm it is kicking all players.

Some have suggested it could be bandwidth or memory. The server has plenty of memory. No bandwidth problem or Edge layer ACL set that would affect the routing. I've made no major changes that would have caused this in the time frame this has appeared.

I'm going to work to try to fix this.

With the servers framework being almost identical from Dallas to LA. Dallas not having this problem. I blame Valve.

L 05/12/2017 - 15:10:40: Engine error: Out of memory or address space.  Texture quality setting may be too high.

Searching around some players have clients that have errors related to sound cache files. I've deleted the same cache files on the servers.

Please report if you see another instance of everybody being kicked

 

at about 9:30 am... 5/13/17
jailbreak la 1 once again crashed... same as always the "steam auth ticket has been canceled"
it seems that clearing some of the cache was not the issue
